A piece of outdoor theatre addressing themes of migration, cultural and physical differences, and social acceptance, by a company of D/deaf and hearing artists, actively engaging the audience in a joyful, playful, experience where they are encouraged to participate
The Deaf & Hearing Ensemble was commissioned to create an outdoor performance by Greenwich & Docklands Festival. It was first performed at Liberty Festival on Saturday 3rd September 2016.
Nodus Tollens is available to tour to festivals in 2017.
Research & Development on this project was carried out in February 2016, supported by Greenwich+Docklands Festival and Deaf Plus.
The Liberty Festival rehearsal & performances were supported by Arts Council England.
